Fellow Archer's... Archery tips and techeniques 2 goes a little further into details than #1 did I'm posting #2 for those of you that may not have gotten the full benifit of #1.
So for those of you that struggled with #1 here it is in layman language to find your draw length. Face a wall with your head straight and forward ,at aproximately 2 or 3 feet from the wall, at eye level make a mark on the wall.
Next step take bow in hand But first place it in a leveling device to make sure your site bracket is level with the riser.
If so take the bow out and shoot it at a range of 40 yards for site pin placement ounce this is established secure a small leveler to the top of the site bracket.
Now this the point is where you need a friend or a good mirrow, with either or stand 6 to 8 feet from the wall.
Sit your bow out normal with the holding hand, come to full draw place your site on the mark at this point the level should be in the level position or slightly on the high side.
If it's not don;t panic we are all made just a little bit different just shorten or lengthen your draw lenght to achieve this.
Congradulation if everything worked out per your instructions you have just mastered the first step in the art of bow shooting.
If you did not fully understand these instructions don't get dismayed we are in the process of putting togather a video with step by step coverage.
