The Louie Jones Show and CyberWize continues to be a winning combination and has been recognized by the 2009 Black Web Awards committee.

Not too long ago, I received word that The Louie Jones Show has been nominated for The 2009 Black Web Awards in the category of Best Talk Show Host Site (www.louiejones.com)

Among the other nominees in this category are Steve Harvey, Michael Baisden and Mario Armstrong. It is an honor for me to be mentioned in the same category of these dynamic individuals.

As I continue to develop The Louie Jones Show, I am creating an entity that will also present a platform which listeners can develop business skills that can be used to create and manage a home base business, if they choose to do so.  I want the listeners to create the opportunity for long term success and develop a stream of residual income. CyberWize is an ideal African American Baby Boomer business opportunity.  However, this opportunity is not just for the African American Baby Boomers, it's for everyone, regardless of race, creed or religion.

It has been my privilege to have interviewed legends and those who have sat at the feet of legends. It has also, however, been my privilege to have interviewed the "everyday" person. They also have stories to tell...stories of struggle and overcoming. These are the stories that the mainstream media chooses to overlook.

There are many stories of achieving and overcoming yet to be told... in the business world, in the entertainment world and in the everyday world. It is incumbent upon us see the message and learn the lessons in each one from these stories. My message to you is that regardless of color, creed or origin, we are all on this planet together...and while there are many who choose to divide us by highlighting our differences and playing on our fears, there are just as many who are in the business of uniting and uplifting. Unfortunately, the mainstream media, in most cases, chooses to focus on the former and not the latter. Sadly, in our society, pandering to the politics of controversy, fear and hatred generates ratings.

Is I have stated in the past, the only way for our stories to be told is for us to tell them. As many of you know, this is my favorite African Proverb:

As I prepare for my third season of The Louie Jones Show in October, I have already begun to line up guests that will continue to enlighten, motivate and inspire. Until then, I'm highlighting prior interviews for you to enjoy.
