What is bloodroot paste? Bloodroot paste, also known as bloodroot salve, is a salve made from the herb bloodroot. It typically is used on different skin abnormalities such as warts, moles, and skin tags and has even been used historically by doctors on various skin cancers such as basal, squamous cell carcinomas, and melanomas.
The main herb in Bloodroot paste is also used in another salve called Black Salve. A high quality Black Salve will contain bloodroot, burdock root, chaparral, graviola, and zinc chloride. These salves are often called pastes because they are a usually in an unrefined semi solid/ semi liquid form that does not have the smooth texture of a cream.
While some bloodroot salve or bloodroot paste formlators add things like tar, clay, and charcoal, these are not substances that lend to the effectiveness of an escharotic bloodroot paste or black salve. They are often used as fillers in bloodroot paste and salves. When salves are formulated using the proper procedures and with the best wild crafted and orgainc herbs, the results can be quite astonishing, as seen in this video.
