 Dreams are treasures waiting to be discovered. In some aspects, our spiritual growth and physical growth is just like dreams…waiting to be discovered. I think that it’s safe to say that many parents do not enjoy their children while they are raising them, because most of the time they are trying to provide them with the necessities of life. At each stage of growth, we as parents wish that our children were at another stage in their growth, other then the one they are at. What I mean is this when the child is in the crawling stages; we wish they were in the walking stage, out of diapers, in school, graduated from college, and get this even married for that matter. Just don’t rush to give us grandchildren too soon.
We should learn to enjoy every stage of life our children are in, because every stage brings joy and trails that is uniquely to that child. We are always growing throughout our lifetime, so why not let the “Excellence” start in you the parent. Today is a great day to learn something new. Do your best never settle for less?
