One thing that all Global Verge reps have to sadly admit is that they still don't have a product to sell, they've just got paid for July and how they got commissions is beyond me, especially since they have no product to market. This company just seems to have a terrible track record and seems like just another scam MLM shill operation. Global Verge reps are leaving in droves and most are coming over to Televerus who actually has a working product, the last I heard they were waiting for the Sim cards to be De-fragged but the only problem with that is, Sim cards can't be De-fragged because they come as they are.

Globalverge had the makings of a good company, they had a pretty good offering and were going to offer an alternative to high cellphone prices, but they dropped the ball before launch time. The last nail in the coffin for me was when they weren't able to launch on time. Their other mistake was having a questionable relationship with Buzzire and Zero1 and not disclosing the full story which led to doubts and failure. Televerus owner David Manning picked up the ball and delivered where they left off.
Global verge recruited 40,000 reps with no visable product, went to a conference and lied with no phone or service, got awarded a trophy for best new company and had it taken back, had their backer Zero1 do a little more digging and run for the hills. Didn't pay their people and a lot more problems. Thats just not how you do business and treat people. At Televerus we treat people like human beings, we don't blow smoke and show you mirrors. If you want to get with a company that has a rock solid foundation and reputation we're welcoming you. Do all the due diligence you like, as a matter of fact we welcome it.

I was a Global Verge rep. and I'm still wondering why July commissions aren/t being paid. Why won't they accept credit cards? Why are they so willing to use an offshore bank? The red flage should be going up all over the place for the reps who chose to stay with Global verge. It seems like Global verge is high risk to me and you better run for the hills like I did. Why can't Global verge get approval through normal MLM friendly Merchant account processors? How are they going to charge clients overseas, when most USA banks deny offshore charges? Where are Global Verges American investors? Why aren't USA investors all over this opportunity? Why haven't the big wireless companies come out with this Magic phone in the past?
Where's the $4.2 million? Why are the Feds suddenly so interested In Buzzirk, Global Verge? Why are they rebranding under the name Smart Band? Where are the phones? Why did Zero1 run for the hills? Who shot JR? Global verge is scrambling to try to regain some of the credibility they lost and the spin doctors are very hard at work. Its too late for them to clean up their act. The feds are on Global Verge like flies and Zero1 is running for the hills, turns out, they owe reps $4.5 million. Looks like Zero1 left Global Verge holding the bag. Computerworld talked about Global Verge like dogs, they called them a total scam. Global Verge does not have the exclusive marketing rights with zero1 as they said. I was a Global Verge rep and the only advice I have for you is to protect your checking account from this MLM cellphone fraud.
When I did further digging I found out that they were involved in another scam called The Country Club, then I found out that there were no pictures of their office or officers and thats when the bells and sirens went off for real. Its just a bait and switch operation, all the phone numbers go to a virtual switch board and voice boxes. No people in the company with a track record in running a wireless telecommunications company. I just wanted to warn people to stay away from this company.
I was a rep for Gloal Verge until they began to have internal management problems not to mention the problem of not actually having the technology promised. Neither did they actually have a product such as a workable cellphone. The straw that broke the Camels back was when they told us that they won't be accepting debit or credit cards. Global Verge was supposed to be the MLM management division of the whole deal along with Buzzirk Mobile. The technology arm of the deal was being spearheaded by a company named Zero1, a worldwide known Telecom company. Then there were the allegations of legal problems with the owner of Global Verge. Security fraud charges and problems with another MLM company he owned.
Eventually Zero1 fired him, especially with what happened in Vegas. In this case what happened in Vegas didn't stay in Vegas. They were there for the annual big convention of tech. things. When asked to produce their Magic phone they couldn't because it didn't exist. That didn't stop them from getting an award of some kind that a tech. magazine has since recinded due to the scam talk which made the magazine look really bad. Global Verge pulled the wool over thousands of people's eyes, even some industry pro's who had some of their people transfer over to Global Verge from other telecom companies. In the end, they couldn't produce what they promised but that doesn't mean everyone left, some are still there waiting for the Magic phone.
I've since joined Traverus/Televerus cellphones, its the exact opposite. I feel confident that Traverus/Televerus can make good on their claims. The phone have been delivered to the leaders for testing and everything seems like its fine, we all expect a few small glitches as with any new technology but overall things are going smoothly. Zer01 Mobile, the MVNE that has been dogged with concerns about its service, said that because of a breach of contract it has cut its business ties with Buzzirk Mobile, which was supposed to distribute the company's service. Zer01 did not specify in what way the contract had been breached. The company also sought to address questions that have arisen about its business and technology. Recent reports by IDG News Service have raised concerns about the viability of Zer01's service offering as well as the business practices of marketing firm Global Verge, which owns Buzzirk.
