 Everyday someone asks, "Tell me how to get results online?" My response is always the same, "What are you willing to sacrifice?"
That's when I get a funny look, a few more questions or no response to my emails and rarely get asked that question again.
The truth is many people are lazy! They want the results with minimum effort and very little sacrifice and wonder why they do not succeed at anything.
They watch other people succeed, believe it's easy and decided they can do the same not realizing there was a time of preparation then implementation as well as evaluation.
I guess people like falling for the hype and promises of making money fast. How else could one explain why many of these product sellers are still in business.
Since 1996, I have had only 7 people actually listen to me and do exactly what I told them. Each of them has succeeded beyond their wildest dreams. That's 7 people out of 5,000 over that time period.
It bothers me that so many people love to be complacent and settle for less than they deserve. But what can I do? It is their life!
There is a code I live by that has served me well! Sometimes I deviate from it and each time it backfired on me.
"Only Help Those Who Help Themselves and are willing to sacrifice."
As WhatBusinessToDo.com shifts into Phase II many people off and on the site will be left behind. Not because we aren't doing our part. It will be because the individual is not serious about their journey and not focused.
It will also be because they cannot see the vision that has been set forth by myself and Rich. Many will complain, critique and over analyze the site without actually using it.
And if they use it they will come to quick conclusions based on their view of what should be happening without fully understanding how things work online. Trust me as we see this everyday.
All we can say to them is, "Bye, Bye. Nice knowing you."
It sounds harsh but what can we do? How can we help someone who is stuck in a way of thinking and doing things that does not and has not worked? Someone who will continue to fall for hype until their bank account is empty.
This is not an easy journey to run a business and to promote your products and services online. But it is very rewarding when you focus and put the time and effort into it along with having the proper guidance.
