Very Interesting...Industry Update on Your Travel Biz. Every once in a while we'll Find out what's happening in the travel industry... So, I thought I would send an update to all that want to obtain financial freedom by owning your own homebase business. It is very important to do your due dilligence if your are wanting to get involved with an industry that is taking the world by storm...yes, that's the TRAVEL INDUSTRY many have perdicted that this $7 trillion dollar industry will more than double over the next decade.

    In my reach I found out that some say that Rhode Island and some other states have issues with YTB, I am know rocket scientist, but please due your homework when starting any homebase business. On July 15, 2008, Mr. Scott Tomer, Chief Executive Officer of YTB International, Inc., announced that the Company(YTB) is contemplating the replacement of its referring travel agent ("RTA") business model with the implementation of a franchise operating system, potentially in 2009. The Company expects that a franchising model, if adopted, would facilitate the Company's expansion into additional markets by providing more comprehensive training and a new proprietary e-commerce platform. Details regarding price, product offerings and the conversion plan are all under consideration, but the Company anticipates that its existing RTA base would be treated favorably (hmmm) under its forthcoming proposal. If a franchising model is adopted, its distribution is expected to be managed by subsidiary and current marketing arm of the Company, YourTravelBiz.com, also known as YTB.com.

     For me, I would run for the hills. Great idea to get the law off your back! Also, GEE WHIZ an opportunity for Distributors to spend more money and get a franchise! I met a young lady who is as of yesterday and is in Traverus as of yesterday. One of the things she was excited about in YTB was being able to sell automoblies, what I said why buy an automoblie from your YTB website when you can get a better deal by going to a dealership. i know what I am talking about because I tried it.
