Joystar Royal Caribbean
Joystar deemed a card mill Dogged a fatal IATAN bullet this week. YTB was not so lucky. Royal Caribbean terminated both of these companies ablity to book travel through thier cruiseline. YTB attempted to recover by doing a massive rep buying spree on Nov. 8 with Carnival Cruiselines and book alot of travel certificates for future travel. This was an attempt to legitimize thier RTA & CRTA Referring travel agent model.
Joystar has not responded only to state they are not a Card mill. What is a Card Mill.
It is a Company issued card that can appear to have Certified Travel Agent Credentials. These unauthorized cards are used to get discounts, fam or familiarization trips, and industry perks at trade shows. These actions have gotten these companies into trouble.
I am glad that I joined Traverus. Which is a 26 year old International brick and motar hosting agency. Traverus Travel has implemented a telecomute position for home based agents so thier agents can make a lucrative residual income. After hosting the 2006 emmy awards Traverus Travel launched its network agents program Nov of 06. You cannot get any Credintials or Card untill you are fully liscenced by going though the full audio training, studying the manual and passing your test. This is just the beginning your training is ongoing with Traverus.
