Are you familiar with any of the Michael Phelps Facts? Michael Phelps is what some call a human shark because of his swimming speed and style. Watching the 2008 Olympics and the 2004 Olympics, I have to agree. This guy swims as if he was born to do so. I've listed a few facts so that you will know a little about this human shark. :)
*Diagnosed With Attention-Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) At An Early Age, Started Swimming At Age 7 And Started Breaking Records As Early As Age 10.*
*He Currently Holds World Records For Several Olympic Events.*
*Won 8 Medals In The 2004 Olympics...(6 gold, 2 bronze)*
*Awarded World Swimmer Of The Year In 03', 04', 06' and 07'*
*Awarded American Swimmer Of The Year In 01', 02', 03', 04', 06' and 07'*
So far Michael Phelps has earned a total of 45 medals, not including the medals currently being won in the 2008 Olympics in China where he is attempting to surpass fellow U.S swimmer Mark Spitz's record of seven gold medals at one Olympics.
