 A passion of mine is HIV/AIDS volunteering. I volunteer my time to AIDS Alabama and helping with the prevention of HIV and AIDS in my community, by educating others.
Yesterday I went to a "Meet Your Neighbor" event at a middle school in my city. And because I am a Peer Educator/volunteer with AIDS Alabama I had a booth set up where brochures and pamplets were made available to the public.
If we want to see positive changes in our society then I believe that we must make time to help with the process.
I enjoyed my time at this event and as always I was able to meet a lot of new people. And at the same time share with them valuable information that might save their life or the life of someone they care about one day.
Know your status; get tested today! It's not a painful test, simply a mouth swab.
