shooting compound bows has been on the rise since the early seventies we have come from the

first compound known as the hanger type compound because of the brackets on the limbs which allowed the wheels to be inserted.

The positioning of the string through the wheels allowed them to act as a pully system

creating less holding weight at full draw somewhere arround 35 to 40 percent thus the

compound was born.

But on todays market we have computor design bow with as much as I do believe 86% let off,

and with the high let off come different shooting forms the high let off give you easy

holding but their has been a whole new set of techniques introduced into the game.

Mastering these techniques can be very rewarding for the archer it can catapult the average

compound bow shooter into the competitive market in a short period of time.
