| Working for Yourself Instead of Someone Else |

 Have you ever thought about working for yourself instead of Corporate America? Well for many years so have I because I knew in my heart that there had to be a better way. For years we sweat and study to get that degree we are all taught will get us to the next level in life. That piece of paper which says we have more value in Corporate America despite on the job experience.
For years I knew that piece of paper was not going to determine my value or self worth and so I began to seek alternate ways to generate the all mighty dollar. Despite what degree you may have worked for, if you are not favored it can still be difficult to get that job you feel you are worthy of having.
Finally after searching for an alternative I encountered many different people from different walks of life. Some of them very prominent in Corporate America who are comfortable where they are. Also met many successful people who have alternate sources of income which they generated from working for themselves despite working for someone else.
As time went on I learned the value of working for myself instead of Corporate America. Sure with any opportunity whether it be network marketing, online shopping mall, or whatever the case may be people will probably look at it as a pyramid. What they fail to realize is that working for Corporate America is a pyramid as well because we are making the person at the top wealthy and not benefitting with exception to a bi-weekly or monthly paycheck we receive. If only we were to work for ourselves would be leverage and create residual income which despite what we do will come month after month after month. Residual income is revenue that occurs over time from work done one time. Residual income (also called passive, or recurring income) is income that continues to be generated after the initial effort has been expended. Compare this to what most people focus on earning: linear income, which is "one-shot" compensation or payment in the form of a fee, wage, commission or salary.
By working from home you have the availability to create Leveraged income which leverages the work of other people to create income for you. Did you not realize that is what you do for Corporate America by working that 9 to 5? With network marketing and working from home for yourself you now have the same opportunity. The plus to that is the tax benefits you get from working for yourself owning your very own home-based business. You don't have to incur the overhead cost of rental space or paying employees.
The best types of residual income are usually those that you have exclusive rights to or otherwise control. They may be harder and more time-consuming to develop or acquire as opposed to promoting products and services of other suppliers, but the rewards are usually greater, and the income more stable.
I'm not against earning some good, honest, "one-shot" linear income, but given a choice, which would you rather do: work hard and get paid only once, through linear income, or get paid continuously - perhaps for years or even the rest of your life - for hard work you perform only once, through residual income?
By having your very own home-based business you may have a monthly fee to cover all those expenses which keeps and maintains your records for a minimum cost. By building your business that fee disappears coming directly from your residual profit. So, What are you waiting for to work from home rather than someone else? If you take the time and energy you exhibit for Corporate America and invest in yourself you can create time freedom and money freedom working for yourself.
