Is YTB International Really Leaving Network Marketing to Open Franchises?

Sunday, July 20, 2008 --- “YTB is Leaving Network Marketing to Open Franchises”
, is one of many lies that the “pretenders” are spreading about YTB, said Coach J. Lloyd Tomer in an address to RTAs and REPs in his Saturday, July 19, 2008 Coach’s Call.  In addition to other issues including the upcoming YTB Annual Convention, the Call focused on rumors started by other MLM travel companies after the announcement about YTB Contemplating Franchising was released last week.  According to Coach, "the “pretenders” are copycat companies claiming to be “just like YTB” yet, all combined sell less travel than YTB does in a single month.

On the Call, titled “Why Scratch With Chickens When You Can Soar With Eagles?” Coach Tomer spoke candidly about change and the impact that it can have within any organization.  “Change can be difficult.  People in general don't like change, but if you want to stop scratching around with the chickens and begin soaring with the eagles, change is necessary,” Coach explained.  He then went on to share examples of the difficulties he faced when he left Primerica and started YTB.  Only seven short years ago, he could barely fill a room with 20 people.  Today, literally thousands, with standing room only, show up wherever Coach attends an event around the country.

Coach emphasized the phenomenal possibilities that exist for YTB in “taking the beauty of the greatest distribution system in the world (Network Marketing) and merging it with the most stable business system in the world (Franchising).  In his remarks, Coach clearly reassured YTB troops that regardless of any changes that will be made in the Company, the RTA position and the Network Marketing system will remain in tact, reinforcing a letter that CEO, Scott Tomer sent to YTB RTAs earlier last week, stating the same.

The opportunities for YTB RTAs and Reps are vast and growing.  As Coach said, “there is a Promised Land ahead for YTB”.  If you are not onboard with YTB, there is no better time than NOW.  YTB will be the #1 choice for people who buy travel, over the next 5 to 10 years.  YTB is currently the 26th largest travel company nationwide.   No… YTB is NOT leaving Network Marketing to Open Franchises.  Yes…YTB IS seriously considering adding the Franchise model to its already superb system.  If you are looking for a travel company that will provide you all the tools you need to run your own home-based travel business from home,  seriously consider YTB.  For more information about YTB, visit Regina’s YTB Travel Website.
