Hello, this is Lea Charlton from Pittsburgh, PA (Home of Pittsburgh Steelers!!!). I own an Organic SEO Marketing consultancy. It is a virtual boutique that specializes in aggressive Internet marketing, social media optimization, consultative training, virtual assistants, organic search engine optimization services. We are based in the USA and service world wide. We do not use offshore outsourcing. We do not use Pay Per Click unless a client insists. We do not use PPC ads to marketing our service; organic SEO is what we use.

About Me? I am a work at home mom. I am Christian. I am more on the shy side, therefore managing behind the scenes is quite comfortable for me. I love spending time with my children and friends. I like animals, swinning, enjoy cooking sometimes and I think learning is enjoyable. I think that I would go crazy without the Internet, music and coffee. I have recently become very health conscious. I practice the law of attraction. I am not materialistic, though want to be rich for the security. It is my goal to travel peacefully in my later years. Why I work on the Internet? My children are why I began working online. I was a single parent and wanted to be there for them. I am grateful for their influence in my life. I am not sure that I would have found passion in any niche on the Internet without them.

It Took Me Quite A While To Learn, Earn and Go Full Time

Knowing "what business to do" took a lot of trial and error. I began developing online a little over 10 years ago. At that time, there few work at home work at home options. You could work with an aspiring .COM if you knew how to program websites or had a degree in a specialty they needed. Most that could do that were starting online businesses of their own. I had no clue what to do back then, so I was excited when a friend introduced me to one of the first PTC sites called All Advantage. Pay To Clicks paid much better back then and recruiting was easy. This first PTC eventually crashed though influenced new and similar opportunities. I worked these programs as if they were my personal businesses and recruited quite a lot of people that want to learn how to work from home online, too. This eventually lead to some website design, affiliate marketing, email campaigns and marketing all of the new launches of that era; some we use today (Commission, Paypal, Xcom, Ebay, etc). I was doing ok until my website builder disappeared from the Internet - HotYellow98 crashed - and I was out of business. I was disgusted and decided to go back to college to learn how to program my own websites. I returned to the Internet when I began working from home in 2004. I was earning an income and developing more towards SEO services.

I did not go to college for SEO Marketing? I did end up getting a degree in Information Technology & Webmaster Certification.
 

It got to a point that I did not see a need for the college degree because I started working from home. We do not need a degree to be successful in this life, though it takes another kind of "schooling" and God's grace. I bounced in and out of school for years. Most of what I do was self-taught by studying what works and experiences.

 Regardless, I did end up getting my degree after my grandparents insisted that I go back and finish school. They were worried that I might need it one day and were adament that I should be an example to my children by "walking that stage". I have a Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology / Business and Webmaster Certification. My children were so excited and proud when I graduated. I really did make it worth the struggle. Aside of my grandfather, I am the only other "Charlton" to do the same. It made him happy to point this out.

Prior to going to school and consulting from home, I gained offline experiences in Business Development, Training and Recruiting during the 10 years of learning how to make money and market online.

I like What I Do - This Is Why

I like that each day provides global opportunities and to work with new people. I like the flexibility of what I do, too. In fact, I spend the past year developing in new viral marketing, attraction marketing and social media optimization (SMO) processes. This alloted the ability to work within both the home business and corporate arenas.

Our company now utilizes SMM / SMO and Viral Marketing to help companies obtain 1st page Google rankings within the 1st month of service and "TOP 5" organic listings in the major search engines by the 3rd month. We provide flexible SEO packages after the 3 months. These help companies obtain more rankings, increase traffic and online branding purposes. As you can image, this line of work is personally rewarding and I love what I do.
