1. Products -- The company MUST have consumable products. In my opinion and experience, with service companies (Excel, ACN, PPL, Ambit, etc) you have to spend so much time and effort convincing people to switch from what they already know as their service provider. Plus, there is always the customer's desire to lower bills and cut costs which means your service is the first to go...
2. Ground Floor Opportunity -- I want to be rep # 1500....not rep # 200,001. It is a well known fact that early adopters of any program/market have a better chance for success. Having joined Excel near its end and being with PPL in its home state where EVERYBODY knows somebody in PPL...I wanted a company that I could help introduce to my city and my network.
3. International -- The company cannot be limited by geography or state licenses. In today's global economy, I want the opportunity to do business anywhere I want. My network of friends and family is not limited to one city, so why should my company be?
4. Money -- A brother has to get paid. The company needs to have a solid compensation plan that is easy to understand and attainable. The plan has got to pay and have the potential to PAY WELL!
5. Duplicatable -- How easily can I or my team get results. The Direct Sales Association states that the average person will find 3 business partners to join with them in business.
